Be a part of our mission as a volunteer.

As a volunteer, you will lend your knowledge and experience to empower our interns for success in employment and life! Volunteers are need is a variety of ways:

  • Facilitators — Our diverse curriculum is made even more valuable when each day is taught by compassionate career professionals and passionate experts. Topics include Bible study and guided lessons on self-discovery, employability skills, money management, interpersonal communication, computer skills, vocational planning and many more.

  • Community Meal Sponsors — Our meals are an irreplaceable time to develop and grow as a part of a community that many of our interns are missing. Each meal is donated, prepared by a volunteer to encourage and nurture this social networking. Sponsors are encouraged to sit and dine with the interns, instructors, mentors and guests.

  • Mentors — In addition to the learning of new skills and social networking with each other, our interns need individual support and accountability of a mentor. Mentors accompany and assist an assigned intern in the journey toward their goals.

  • Employer & Community Leaders — In support of his/her training, leaders in our community and across industry are needed to present insight or participate in expert panels to avail knowledge and resources needed by interns for success after graduation.

  • Jail Outreach Coaches — Mentor and encourage inmates. It is evident to all of those involved that the time coaches spend with inmates brings light into their lives, a real sense of community that distracts from daily life in jail and inspires his/her goals and dreams.

In addition to volunteer your time and skills, a donation of any size will equip CJCGC to serve and expand our programming.
